See growth opportunity in housing finance space: Edelweiss Securities

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Nischal Maheshwari of Edelweiss Securities shared his readings and outlook on the market, specific stocks and sectors.

Maheshwari said good monsoon is aiding consumer sentiment.

He further said that growth in brown goods (consumer durable) sector is shaping up well.

He expects consumer durables and house building sectors to do well over two-three years.

Edelweiss Securities is positive on housing finance theme, said Maheshwari. See good growth opportunity in housing finance space, he added.

He expects growth of 18-20 percent to be sustainable for housing finance companies.

Seeing first signs of demand for affordable housing, he further mentioned.
