Compact Disc India Ltd is a public Ltd company incorporated under the
 Companies Act 1956, on 7th May 1992 and obtained certificate of
 Commencement of business on 8th May 1992 with the main object to set
 up a 100% EOU for manufacturing compact discs.
 
 The company has been promoted by Mr.Suresh Kumar, Mrs. Rashmee
 Seengal and Mrs.Santosh Grover.
 
 2001 - The Company issue and allotment of up to 24,00,000 equity
 shares of Rs 10 each on 
              a preferential basis to all investors in one or more
 tranches.
 
 
 
 2004
 
 -Compact Disk India Ltd has informed that the equity shares of the
 company have been delisted from Delhi Stock Exchange Association Ltd,
 wef March 31, 2004.
 
 2005
 
 -Compact Discs enters into an agreement with Media Venture Pvt Ltd
