CIA Director John Ratcliffe confirmed that he was part of the Signal group chats that were recently leaked in a significant security breach.
Ratcliffe maintained that no classified information was exchanged in the group chat, aligning with the administration's stance. He emphasized that his contributions to the conversation were "completely allowed and legal" and did not involve any classified material.
Additionally, Ratcliffe acknowledged that having a journalist included in a private Signal chat, where Trump administration officials were discussing war plans, was "definitely not" appropriate.
