US President Donald Trump reacted strongly to the deadly shooting at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Field Office in Dallas, Texas, which left two detainees dead and a third critically injured.

The suspected shooter, Joshua Jahn, 29, later died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities reported that bullet casings recovered at the scene bore “Anti-ICE” messages.

“The Brave Men and Women of ICE are just trying to do their jobs, and remove the ‘WORST of the WORST’ Criminals out of our Country, but they are facing an unprecedented increase in threats, violence, and attacks by Deranged Radical Leftists,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He called the attack “despicable” and said, “It has now been revealed the deranged shooter wrote ‘Anti-ICE’ on his shell casings. This is despicable!” Trump blamed Democrats for fostering such violence, stating it is “the result of the Radical Left Democrats constantly demonizing Law Enforcement, calling for ICE to be demolished, and comparing ICE Officers to ‘Nazis.’”

Referencing the recent assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Trump warned, “The continuing violence from Radical Left Terrorists… must be stopped. ICE Officers, and other Brave Members of Law Enforcement, are under grave threat.”

The president also highlighted measures by his administration to counter domestic extremism. “We have already declared ANTIFA a Terrorist Organization,” he said, adding that he would sign an executive order “to dismantle these Domestic Terrorism Networks.”

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed the Dallas location is a field office, not a detention center. Authorities are investigating whether the recent shooting is connected to a prior bomb threat at the same facility.

Sources told NewsNation that Jahn targeted detainees at random, and the attack is being treated as “an act of targeted violence.”

Trump’s post came shortly after his address at the United Nations General Assembly, where he suggested that Ukraine could regain territory lost to Russia, a stance that marked a notable shift in his foreign policy messaging.
