US President Donald Trump expressed his displeasure on Tuesday over a ranking that placed him behind George Washington and Abraham Lincoln on his self-styled “Presidential Walk of Fame.” Speaking to Republican senators in the White House Rose Garden, Trump said he was “extremely angry” after seeing the ranking, suggesting that third place was far from satisfactory.
“From the great George Washington all the way to, well, I think we have to rate him above me,” Trump said with a dry smile. “So it’s less than great, less than George.”
He recounted seeing the rating on television. “Somebody went up there, they say, 'You're the third best president in the Unite — this was on television! third best,’” Trump continued. “And they said, who are the first two? 'George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.' And I got extremely angry at this man, you know.”
Trump acknowledged that surpassing Washington and Lincoln would be “tough.” “But we’re going to give it a try, right?” he added.

The remarks reflect Trump’s penchant for mixing self-praise, historical comparisons, and political bravado, highlighting how he frames his presidency in relation to past leaders while keeping an eye on ongoing domestic and international narratives.
