The US State Department offered a $10 million reward on Friday for information about Iran's new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei and other top officials.

Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and Minister of Intelligence and Security Esmail Khatib were among the 10 individuals on the State Department list.

"These individuals command and direct various elements of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which plans, organizes and executes terrorism around the world," the State Department said.

It urged tipsters to send information via Tor or Signal and said "your information could make you eligible for relocation and a reward."

The State Department's "Rewards for Justice" program offers cash for intelligence leading to the capture or prosecution of wanted individuals.

Mojtaba Khamenei's father Ali Khamenei was killed in a bombing on February 28 at the start of the US-Israeli war against Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran's military has destroyed 111 enemy drones since the start of the Middle East war, the Revolutionary Guard's Sepah News portal reported on Friday.

It said the Guards had destroyed an MQ-9 over Fars province and another aircraft in Tabriz, meaning "the total number of drones destroyed so far is 111 of various types".

It did not provide a breakdown of how many were cheap, one-way explosive drones versus more sophisticated multi-use aircraft such as the MQ-9.

Additionally, Iran's latest internet blackout has lasted more than 14 days, connectivity monitor Netblocks said Friday.

The nature of the limits on internet activity shows "this is a government-imposed measure" and not the result of damage from US and Israeli airstrikes, Netblocks research chief Isik Mater told AFP.

"It is a deliberate shutdown imposed by the authorities to suppress the flow of information and prevent further dissent," said Raha Bahreini, Iran researcher at Amnesty International.
