According to the FBI Atlanta field office, 25-year-old Aliakbar Mohammed Amin of Lilburn, Georgia, was taken into custody for what they described as “threatening communications.” The threats were allegedly directed at President Trump, the White House, and former U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who now serves as Director of National Intelligence.
“The FBI does not tolerate threats and will hold offenders fully accountable,” the agency stated.
Authorities have not yet disclosed details regarding the content or delivery method of the threats. It also remains unclear what specific charges Amin will face or when he is scheduled to appear in court.
