The Ukrainian president will be accompanied by European leaders when he meets Donald Trump.

Months after the explosive showdown in February, US President Donald Trump is set to host his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House tonight. The high-stakes peace talks will also see top European leaders in attendance. The meeting comes days after Trump met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Reports say that Trump suggested there could be a peace deal if Zelensky ceded the Donbas region to Russia. Despite high hopes and media scrutiny, the two leaders failed to reach a conclusion.
