Trump invited Epstein as only guest to 1993 party for ‘young women’ at Mar-a-Lago: Report

In yet another bombshell revelation, it is claimed that US President Donald Trump once hosted a private party attended only by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and a group of “young women”, states a New York Times report.

The account, revealed in an article titled “Inside the Long Friendship Between Trump and Epstein”, adds to a growing trove of details about the pair’s close ties in the 1990s and early 2000s.

The NYT report, published Saturday, comes just days after The Wall Street Journal revealed that Trump had once sent Epstein a provocative birthday note. The note reportedly featured a nude sketch of a woman along with a cryptic message.

According to The New York Times, Trump and Epstein socialised frequently in Manhattan and Palm Beach over the course of nearly 15 years, until a falling out shortly before Epstein’s first arrest on sex trafficking charges.

One episode highlighted in the report describes Trump hosting “a party at Mar-a-Lago for young women in a so-called calendar girl competition” in 1993, with Epstein as the only other guest -- an account corroborated by the UK-based Independent.

Florida businessman George Houraney, who helped organise the event, recalled his surprise when he learned of the guest list.

“I said, Donald, this is supposed to be a party with VIPs,” Houraney told the NYT in a 2019 interview. “You're telling me it's you and Epstein?”

Houraney’s then-girlfriend, Jill Harth, was also present at the party. According to HuffPost, citing the NYT report, Harth later accused Trump of forcibly kissing and fondling her, and attempting to stop her from leaving the party.

Trump, who once publicly praised Epstein, had told New York Magazine in 2002:

“I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it – Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

While the White House has not issued a formal response to the NYT article, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the newspaper that Trump eventually banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago resort “for being a creep,” HuffPost reported.

Trump has previously claimed that he distanced himself from Epstein in 2009 after Epstein allegedly behaved inappropriately toward the daughter of a club member at Mar-a-Lago.

The NYT report comes at a time when Trump is facing renewed scrutiny and increasing demands to release all documents linked to the Epstein case -- a controversy he has dismissed as the “Jeffrey Epstein hoax.”
