At least one person suffered injuries after a small plane made an emergency landing on a Florida highway and crashed into the traffic on Monday.

The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of I-95 at around 5:45 p.m. on Monday, December 8, when the plane made an emergency landing into traffic and collided into a car, according to local outlets Fox 13 News, Click Orlando and WESH, which cited the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) and Brevard County Fire Rescue.

A video posted online shows the plane descending toward the freeway as the Camry moves along the lane. The aircraft appears to touch down on top of the vehicle before skidding ahead and coming to a stop on the roadway.

The aircraft crash-landed on a 2023 Toyota Camry. There were two people on board the plane. The pilot and his passenger - both 27-year-old men - were not injured. However, the 57-year-old woman driving the Camry was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
