US President Donald Trump has responded on the public apology shared by tech billionaire Elon Musk after the online feud between the two.

President Trump said despite the harsh words he has 'no hard feelings' and was 'really surprised' by the fallout.

He further added that he doesn't "blame" Musk for the blow-up that started with the latter's criticisms of the Big Beautiful Bill. However, he maintained that he was "a little disappointed," reported The Post.

Recently Musk admitted that he went 'too far' hoping that the tensions between him and the president might ease after a week of sharp personal attacks.

The US President described Musk's apology as "very nice."

Musk later deleted some of the posted that criticized Trump and apologised, stating, "I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far."

This apology came after a phone conversation between Elon Musk, Vice President J.D. Vance, and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, according to a report by The New York Times.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated on Wednesday that President Donald Trump has acknowledged Tesla CEO Elon Musk's apology. During her media briefing, Leavitt emphasized that following the incident, the administration is now prioritizing the concerns of the American people.

Some reports suggested that Musk personally contacted Trump on Monday. While Trump acknowledged the gesture, he did not indicate whether he was open to renewing their former relationship.

Earlier, the feud began when Musk criticized Trump, taking aim at his "Big Beautiful Wall." In response, Trump claimed he could have won the election without Musk's support. Musk later escalated the dispute by suggesting that Trump may have had a role in obstructing the release of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, citing Trump's past associations with him.
