Israeli PM Netanyahu Rejects Western Recognitions Of Palestinian State

Israel will not be bound by recent Western recognitions of a Palestinian state, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday.

“A Palestinian state will not arise,” the prime minister’s office posted on X.

The remarks come after dozens of world leaders gathered at the United Nations on Monday to support the establishment of a Palestinian state, a significant diplomatic move nearly two years into the ongoing Gaza conflict. Israel and its close ally, the United States, have strongly opposed these recognitions.
