Elon Musk spoke about the death threats he is receiving since taking the job of DOGE head

Tech billionaire Elon Musk, in a viral audio recording shared by the X account Doge Designer, said, 'My life expectancy is not increasing as a result of DOGE, that's for sure.'

He also mentioned that he is receiving death threats, saying, 'The death threats and everything are just next level.' Musk added, 'Gotta make sure I don't get shot by some crazy person.'

He further discussed the attack on Donald Trump during his 2024 U.S. presidential campaign, stating, 'The president almost got killed.'

On March 30, while attending a town hall in Wisconsin Musk claimed that he received 17,000 death threats daily.

"There were quite a few death threats, I have to tell you," he alleged. "I was like, my security team said, 'Well, it’s actually gone down from yesterday to today. It went down from 18,000 to 17,000.' So, I’m like, well, maybe it’s getting better. But you can see how crazy some of these people are."
