A one-minute video captured by a US Air Force MQ-9 Reaper drone in 2012 has resurfaced on social media, showing glowing, triangular-shaped orbs moving over the Persian Gulf and reigniting discussions about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs).
The footage, recently released by investigative journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp on their platform WEAPONIZED, is part of a larger cache of military recordings archived by the Department of War.

According to Corbell and Knapp, the infrared video depicts three bright lights moving in a precise triangular formation, with one orb occasionally lagging behind before quickly reforming the pattern. The objects display abrupt changes in direction and “instantaneous acceleration,” which observers say defy known aircraft capabilities.
“This is a military-recorded, sensor-generated image of what looks like a triangular UFO, like one big triangular craft with dots on each of the three ends,” Knapp said. “And clearly, you watch this, and that’s not what it is.”
The US Department of Defense has officially designated the objects as UAPs and categorized them as “non-human,” according to the reports. Forward Looking Infrared Radar (FLIR) detected no heat or signatures associated with conventional propulsion systems.
The Pentagon has consistently maintained a cautious stance, noting that while some aerial encounters remain unexplained, there is no physical evidence confirming extraterrestrial technology or life.
Corbell described the objects as “playful,” noting their apparent awareness of each other’s positions and coordinated movement. The video’s recent circulation has gone viral on social media, sparking renewed curiosity about the possibility of intelligent, non-human aerial phenomena and furthering speculation about UAPs.
The release of this footage adds to a growing body of military-recorded encounters that continue to fuel public and scientific debate over the nature and origin of unexplained aerial phenomena.
