Singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were recently spotted dining together in Montreal, sparking rumors of a budding romance. This comes shortly after both became single, following Perry’s split from actor Orlando Bloom.
The two have been seen together twice in Montreal, fueling speculation online about their relationship status.
"Katy and Justin seemed to have had a fantastic evening," a representative for the restaurant told PEOPLE.
"They were super kind and friendly to the staff, and it was an absolute pleasure to have them at the restaurant,” said the representative.
According to TMZ, their first public outing took place on July 28 at the upscale restaurant Le Violon. Both dressed casually, Perry and Trudeau reportedly enjoyed cocktails and a gourmet tasting menu featuring dishes like lobster and lamb gnocchi.

In the photos obtained by the outlet, Trudeau, 53, who wore jeans, a navy T-shirt and a cap, was all smiles as he strolled down Montreal's Mount Royal Park with Katy. The singer was seen in jeans, a white top, white flats and a sun hat that largely covered her face.
