The report said the Guards shot down an MQ-9 drone over Fars province and another aircraft in Tabriz, bringing the total number of drones destroyed so far to 111 across different types.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards on March 13 struck a defiant tone, saying they had launched the “most powerful” attack against Israel since the conflict began, according to the Tasnim news agency.

Separately, the country’s military destroyed 111 drones belonging to the US and Israel since the start of the war, AFP reported citing Revolutionary Guard's Sepah News portal on Friday.

The report said the Guards shot down an MQ-9 drone over Fars province and another aircraft in Tabriz, bringing the total number of drones destroyed so far to 111 across different types.

However, the statement did not specify how many of those were low-cost, one-way attack drones and how many were more advanced multi-role aircraft such as the MQ-9.
