IndiGo on Monday informed passengers that aircraft operating to Dubai cannot land at Dubai International Airport for now after authorities there suspended landing permissions.

“As per the latest update issued by Dubai Airport authorities, landing permissions for aircraft operating into DXB have been suspended until further notice in view of the prevailing situation in the region,” the airline said in a travel advisory.

The carrier said it is closely tracking the developments and urged passengers scheduled to travel on Dubai routes to verify the status of their flights before heading to the airport.

Customers travelling to or from Dubai have been asked to check their flight status through the airline’s update link for real-time information.

“We continue to monitor the developments closely and appreciate our customers’ patience and understanding during this challenging time,” IndiGo said.

The airline also said it is sending notifications to keep travellers updated on any changes related to the situation.
