US President Donald Trump has denied allegations reported by The Wall Street Journal claiming he sent Jeffrey Epstein a birthday message in 2003 and has threatened legal action against the publication.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Trump said that he had never written a picture in his life and does not draw pictures of women, as it is not his ‘language’.
“This is not me. This is a fake thing. It’s a fake Wall Street Journal story. I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women. It’s not my language. It’s not my words,” Trump said in an interview conducted on Tuesday.
“I’m gonna sue The Wall Street Journal just like I sued everyone else,” he added.
“It was Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday, and Ghislaine Maxwell was preparing a special gift to mark the occasion. She turned to Epstein’s family and friends. One of them was Donald Trump”, WSJ wrote.
The Wall Street Journal reported that for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday, Ghislaine Maxwell put together a personalized album featuring messages from his friends and family - one of which allegedly came from Donald Trump.
“Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret” the letter ended and reportedly signed by Trump.
