Musk calls out Trump over Epstein case

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has publicly criticized US President Donald Trump over the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, accusing him of not following through on his promise to release the "Epstein files."

Posting on his platform X, Musk expressed disbelief over Epstein’s death, initially questioning the circumstances before calling it a “hoax.” He also alleged that Trump had failed to deliver transparency regarding Epstein’s connections and case details.

“Wow I can’t believe Epstein killed himself before realizing it was all a hoax," Musk said on X. In previous posts, Musk questioned where the evidence against Epstein was, and called Trump’s “hoax" comment a cover-up of the scandal.

Musk also questioned Trump's credibility on the issue, asking, "How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won't release the Epstein files?" In another post, he said, "Seriously. He said 'Epstein' half a dozen times while telling everyone to stop talking about Epstein. Just release the files as promised."
