Gulf countries surrounding Iran have closed the airspace after Israel conduted in what it called a 'pre-emptive attack' on Iran on Saturday morning.
As per reports, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE have closed their airspace amid the escalating tension between Israel and Iran.
Meanwhile, the Iran military has issued an emergency Alert to Iranians residing in the Persian Gulf.
Sharing a post on X, the Iran military said Iranian citizens residing in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan who have not yet managed to leave these countries are advised to depart "the territory of these five countries as soon as possible."
"If departure is not possible, refrain from approaching any military bases, hotels, docks, commercial complexes, or any locations associated with the United States, and minimize all non-essential travel," said the Iran military.
The warning issued by the Iran military comes amid reports that the headquarters of the US Navy’s 5th Fleet has been targeted by a missile attack in Bahrain. As per reports, explosions have also been heard in Kuwait and UAE's capital Abu Dhabi.
According to Iran’s Fars news agency, Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait, Al-Dhafra Air Base in the UAE, and the fifth US base in Bahrain have been targeted by Iranian missile attacks.

The Israeli army has issued a statement saying it is “conducting a broad strike on a number of military targets belonging to the Iranian regime in western Iran”.
