Ukraine’s former economy minister Yuliia Svyrydenko appointed as prime minister, replacing Denys Shmyhal reports news agency Associated Press.
She replaced Denys Shmyhal on the job, who announced his resignation on Tuesday. He held the position for over five years after his appointment on March 4, 2020.
The Cabinet changes have not been viewed as a significant overhaul, as Ukraine’s leader continues to depend on officials who have demonstrated both competence and loyalty throughout the war, now entering its fourth year.
