US President Donald Trump stated Tuesday that Middle East allies are ready to send troops into Gaza to confront Hamas if the group violates the ongoing ceasefire.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that several countries in the Middle East and surrounding regions have “explicitly and strongly, with great enthusiasm” offered to intervene with a heavy force at his request to “straighten out Hamas” should the militant group continue to act against the terms of the truce.
Trump described these countries as “NOW GREAT ALLIES” and emphasized their willingness to assist in maintaining stability in Gaza. His statement comes amid ongoing concerns about the fragile ceasefire brokered earlier in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
He also mentioned that, " If they do not, an end to Hamas will be FAST, FURIOUS, & BRUTAL! I would like to thank all of those countries that called to help."
The US president’s remarks signal continued American engagement in coordinating with regional partners to monitor Hamas’ compliance and underscore the willingness of allied nations to support military measures if necessary.
Trump also expressed gratitude to Indonesia and its "wonderful" leader for their support in the Middle East and assistance to the U.S., adding, "To everyone, thank you for your attention to this matter!"
