Tech billionaire Elon Musk has deleted a post on X in which he alleged that US President Donald Trump is mentioned in documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein
The escalating feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump took a dramatic turn when the tech mogul openly accused the US President of being named in the still undisclosed Jeffrey Epstein files.
“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” Musk posted on X.
In a follow-up post, Musk added, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out." In response to Elon Musk’s post, the Democrats, too, demanded that the list be released.
Notably, Musk has removed all his previous tweets criticizing Trump, including those mentioning the Epstein files.
James Fishback, the lead figure behind the "DOGE checks" initiative, commented on Musk’s deleted post, describing it as a “good first step” and suggested that the next move should be “a full-throated apology to Trump and his family.”

The online clash between Musk and Trump had escalated sharply after Musk called Trump’s proposed spending package a “disgusting abomination.” Trump fired back, accusing Musk of “ingratitude” and suggesting he might cut federal contracts with Musk’s companies. “He’s gone CRAZY,” Trump wrote, adding that Musk was no longer welcome in his orbit.
The allegations triggered a wave of reaction across Washington and social media, prompting House Democrats to urge the Department of Justice and the FBI to investigate Musk’s claims. According to sources cited by Axios, lawmakers are pushing for the immediate release of the Epstein files to see if any current or former government officials are named.
FBI Director Kash Patel has so far refused to comment on the escalating dispute between Musk and Trump or on Trump’s rumored ties to Epstein.
Jeffrey Epstein, a financier with extensive ties to global elites, was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges. He died in jail that same year under circumstances officially deemed a suicide, though speculation about foul play has persisted due to the high-profile nature of the individuals allegedly linked to him.
