Donald Trump's phone lock screen picture goes viral, social media jumps to 9/11 theories

A picture of US President Donald Trump's phone lock screen went widely viral after Reuters took an HD picture of it. The screen has Trump's picture, pointing a finger at, what looks like, the person looking at the screen.

While some people pointed out that it is narcissistic to keep your own picture as the lock screen of your phone, instead of your wife or kids, some others sharply stuck to theories about 9/11.

"Trump’s lock screen was spotted on his phone last night—and it was a photo of himself. Is that not one of the most narcissistic, self-absorbed things you’ve ever seen??? Not his family, not his kids, but himself," one user wrote.

Another one wrote, "Reuters took an HD photo of the lock screen of President Trump's iPhone last night. It's a picture of himself. No president has more aura than President Trump."

The 9/11 theories surfaced after netizens spotted the time reflecting on Trump's phone. The time read 9:11. Social media users have, since then, pointed out that it could be a sign for something related to 9/11 attacks.

"Reuters took photo of lock screen of President Trump's iPhone Don't like the time it shows: 9:11 Reminds me of Trump's Butler, PA rally/assassination attempt, the only time CNN attended a Trump rally that year & how convenient, a NYT award winning photographer was also present," another user wrote, while mentioning a 9/11 theory.

"Does this mean Trump is going to release the 9/11 files?" yet another comment on social media read.

However, neither the White House nor Trump have commented on the issue.
