US President Donald Trump received a standing ovation as he entered UFC 314 in Miami on Saturday night, flanked by podcast host Joe Rogan and billionaire Elon Musk.
Trump, sporting a yellow tie, pumped his fist to “Taking Care of Business” as fans in MAGA hats roared their approval.
Trump was joined by several high-profile figures, including Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., FBI Director Kash Patel, DNI Tulsi Gabbard, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. UFC President Dana White, a longtime ally, escorted Trump into the arena alongside his granddaughter, Kai Trump.
Throughout the night, the jumbotron spotlighted Trump, prompting chants of “USA” and cheers as he briefly danced to “YMCA.” The sold-out Kaseya Center crowd frequently swarmed him with greetings, while Trump was seen chatting with Musk, who had his son perched on his shoulders.
Trump's appearance underscored his continued appeal among UFC’s largely male fanbase—a key demographic in his 2024 campaign. It was his first UFC event since retaking office and follows his recent presence at the LIV Golf tournament at his Miami club.
The main event featured a featherweight championship bout between Australia’s Alexander Volkanovski and Brazil’s Diego Lopes.
“You know who's going to win? Dana White,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, flying in from his Mar-a-Lago estate after a golf round in West Palm Beach.
