Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and the Axiom-4 Mission crew are set to return on Monday, July 14, with undocking scheduled for 4:30 PM IST.
Their arrival back to Earth is expected with a splashdown on July 15 at 3:00 PM IST. The update was shared by Union MoS (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Space, Jitendra Singh, in a post on X.
He also mentioned that these timings have a margin of approximately one hour.

Ahead of the undocking, a farewell ceremony for the four astronauts will be held on July 13, 7:25 PM IST, as informed by Axiom.

Shukla will undergo a seven-day rehabilitation program following his splashdown off the California coast on July 15, after spending 18 days aboard the International Space Station (ISS), according to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
“Post splashdown, the Gaganyatri will undergo a rehabilitation program (about seven days) under supervision of Flight Surgeon to adapt back to Earth’s gravity,” Isro said in an update on the Axiom-4 mission.
