As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, political parties are ramping up their efforts to connect with the public, engaging in extensive campaigning and making strategic moves. After much speculation, the Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra has finalized a pact regarding seat-sharing. The Shiv Sena (UBT) faction will contest 21 seats, the NCP (Sharad Pawar) faction will contest 10 seats, and the Congress will contest 17 seats. On April 9, the Delhi High Court dismissed a plea by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding his arrest in a liquor policy case. The court stated that evidence collected by the ED indicated his active involvement in the use of proceeds of crime.
