Xiaomi has officially introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, in China. It succeeds the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, coming with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, advanced 200MP periscope telephoto lens and a robust 6,800mAh battery.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been launched as the fourth model in the company’s latest flagship lineup. It succeeds the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which was introduced in India the year. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is built on a 3nm process. Further, it features a Leica-tuned rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Price
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a starting price of CNY 6,999 (around Rs 89,500) for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Meanwhile, the 16GB RAM + 512GB variant and the top-of-the-line 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant cost CNY 7,499 (around Rs 96,000) and CNY 8,499 (around Rs 1,09,000), respectively. There is also a special Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition, which is priced at CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 1,02,500).
The phone will go on sale in China on December 27 via the Xiaomi online store. It is available in Black, White, Cold Smoky Purple, and Starry Green colour shades.
