Vivo Y29 5G to launch soon in India, here’s everything we know so far

Vivo is reportedly planning to launch its new smartphone in India, soon after its flagship X200 series earlier this month. The phone in question is the Y29 5G and it is expected to cater for the budget segment in the company’s smartphone lineup. It is worth noting that Vivo has not yet confirmed the India launch for the phone. However, here’s everything that we know so far about the Y29 5G smartphone.

Vivo Y29 5G: What we know so far

Vivo’s Y series phones have always catered for the budget segment and it is expected that the Y29 5G will fall in the same category. As per leaks and reports, the phone is expected to offer up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Moving on to the other features, the phone might come with a bigger 5500mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity chip and 44W fast charging speed. Moreover, the smartphone is also speculated to feature a thin and light form factor. Although exact dimension details are yet to be revealed by the company.

Vivo Y29 5G: Price in India
Vivo Y29 5G is expected to drop in the budget segment. While Vivo is yet to make the phone official, we expect the pricing for the phone to start at around Rs 12,000 and go all the way to Rs 15,000. Talking about the colour, the phone is expected to come in three colours – Blue, Gold and Black.
