Vivo’s V series has consistently targeted users who want a balance of premium design, strong camera performance, and dependable battery life without crossing into flagship pricing. The newly launched Vivo V60 builds on the V50’s foundation with notable improvements in processing power, camera capabilities, AI features, and battery size. Here are the eight key differences to help you decide which model suits your needs.

Vivo V60 vs Vivo V50: Processor power

The Vivo V60 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, delivering a claimed 27% faster CPU and 30% better GPU performance compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the V50. Both chips are based on a 4nm process, but the V60’s gains make a visible difference in gaming, multitasking, and long-term performance sustainability.

Vivo V60 vs Vivo V50: Camera system

A major upgrade comes in the form of the V60’s triple rear ZEISS camera setup — 50MP main, 50MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and 8MP ultrawide. The telephoto lens is new to this segment, offering better zoom clarity. The V50 has a dual 50MP setup (main + ultrawide) with no telephoto option.

Vivo V60 vs Vivo V50: AI features

The V60 introduces Google Gemini integration, Gemini Live, and AI Smart Call Assistant. These tools enable smart replies, live translation, automatic summaries, and enhanced productivity. The V50 does not offer these AI-powered capabilities.

Vivo V60 vs Vivo V50: Display size and quality

The V60 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. The V50’s screen is slightly larger at 6.77 inches but offers similar resolution and refresh rate. The V60’s advantage lies in improved clarity and outdoor visibility.

Vivo V60 vs Vivo V50: Battery and charging

Battery life gets a boost in the V60 with a 6,500mAh capacity, which Vivo claims is the slimmest phone in the market with such a large battery. It supports 90W FlashCharge fast charging. The V50 offers a 6,000mAh battery with the same charging speed. On moderate use, the V60 can last around 1.5 to 2 days.

Vivo V60 vs Vivo V50: Design and build

The V60 is slimmer with a refined design and comes in new colour options — Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, and Moonlit Blue — while retaining IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance. The V50 also has a premium design but feels bulkier due to its larger display.

Software experience

Both phones ship with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. However, the V60 includes exclusive AI enhancements such as automated call summaries and photo recomposition tools, adding more utility to the interface.

Price

The V60 is priced between Rs 37,000 and Rs 44,990 depending on configuration. The V50 now starts at around Rs 34,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, making it more affordable but without the new hardware and AI upgrades.
