Thomson has launched a new lineup of smart TVs and air coolers in India, including what it claims is the world’s first 24-inch QLED smart TV.
Price and availability
The new QLED smart TVs come in three sizes—24, 32, and 40 inches—and are priced at Rs 6,799, Rs 8,999, and Rs12,999 respectively. These TVs run on Linux-based Coolita 3.0 OS and are now available in India. Thomson also introduced five new air cooler models in 40, 55, 60, 75, and 95-litre capacities, starting at Rs 5,699. The 60-litre model comes with remote control functionality.
Key features and specs
The TVs feature a bezel-less design, VA display panels, and built-in speakers. The 24-inch model has 24W sound output, while the 32- and 40-inch models have 36W output. They come with pre-installed apps like YouTube, Prime Video, Sony Liv, Zee5, and JioHotstar.
Other features include sports mode, live channels, games, and a dedicated mode for YouTube Shorts. Users can also mirror their screens without the internet, thanks to built-in Wi-Fi and Miracast support.
The TVs are powered by a quad-core A35 processor and support HDMI and USB connectivity. Voice search, screen mirroring, and smart content suggestions are also part of the package.
