Telegram’s new update brings Story Albums, Gift Collections, and more
Telegram has released a major update (v11.14.0) for Android and iOS, introducing several new features aimed at enhancing user experience and boosting content discoverability. Here are the key highlights:
Public Post Search for Premium Users Telegram Premium users now get access to a new ‘Posts’ tab in the Search section, enabling them to search through public channel posts directly. This centralises information discovery, making it easier to find relevant content across Telegram’s vast public channels.

Story Albums for Better Content Organisation Users can now group stories into “Story Albums” on their profiles or channels. This feature is useful for personal highlights as well as businesses and content creators who want to showcase products or curate themed story playlists. Stories can be added to albums from the Posts tab.

Gift Collections with Advanced Filters Telegram’s new Gift Collections feature lets users categorise their gifts into themed collections based on traits like rarity. A single gift can appear in multiple collections, and the platform offers filters to help users browse through them efficiently. Collections can be customised and expanded freely.

Profile Rating System & Premium Gifts Coming Soon A new Profile Rating badge now appears on user profiles, reflecting their activity with Telegram Stars through purchases and interactions. This rating is aimed at enhancing credibility, especially for Suggested Posts. Telegram also teased an upcoming Premium Gifts feature, exclusive to Premium users, offering limited-edition digital gifts.
