Samsung reveals One UI 7 update rollout details for Galaxy smartphones and tablets: Check eligible devices, date and other details

The One UI 7.0 update will reach 46 devices in total, covering flagship phones, foldables, mid-range smartphones, and tablets. While the initial rollout began with the Galaxy S24 lineup, more devices will follow in phases. The current schedule is South Korea-specific, but a similar roadmap is expected for global markets.

Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 7.0 update, starting with the Galaxy S24 series and the latest foldables, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. The company has now shared a detailed update schedule for the South Korean market via the Samsung Members platform, outlining eligible devices and the timeline through June 2025.

Eligible devices

The One UI 7.0 update will reach 46 devices in total, covering flagship phones, foldables, mid-range smartphones, and tablets. While the initial rollout began with the Galaxy S24 lineup, more devices will follow in phases. The current schedule is South Korea-specific, but a similar roadmap is expected for global markets.

April 2025

The first wave includes the Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra. It also covers the Galaxy S23 series and the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE.

May 2025

The next batch includes older foldables like the Z Fold4, Z Flip4, Z Fold3, and Z Flip3. The Galaxy S22 series, S23 FE, and S21 series will also get the update. Mid-range models such as Galaxy A34, A35, and A16 are included, along with the Galaxy Tab S9 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series. South Korea-specific models like Quantum4, Quantum5, and Jump3 are also on the list.

June 2025

The final wave covers the Galaxy A53, A33, A25, A24, A15, and several budget-friendly tablets, including Galaxy Tab A9, A9+, and Tab Active devices. The rollout ends with Galaxy Buddy3, Jump2, and Wide 7 devices.

Rollout details

The update will be released in batches, and availability may vary by region and device model. The South Korean schedule suggests a wide range of eligible devices, indicating Samsung’s intent to support even mid-range and budget models. Please note that the timeline has been posted on the Samsung Members app in Korea. This timeline is currently for the Korean version of Samsung smartphones However, we expect the global rollout around a similar time frame.

Users can expect new features with One UI 7.0, though exact changes depend on device compatibility. Samsung has shared a video review detailing the full set of features for those interested in learning more.
