Samsung unveils Galaxy S25+ with advanced AI integration: Price, features and more

At the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, Samsung Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25+, the second device of the Galaxy S25 series. Just like the Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25+ also comes with advanced AI-powered multimodal agents for natural interactions. It also offers enhanced thermal management for optimised performance under heavy usage. Moreover, Samsung has also updated the camera and chipset of the phone to offer high-end performance and improved AI processing.

The Galaxy S25+ is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. The company claims that the chip offers 37% faster CPU and 40% more efficient NPU performance compared to its predecessor. It supports on-device AI tasks for personalised experiences, including Circle to Search for contextual searches and AI-generated assistance in tasks like photo editing.

The camera system features a 50MP ultrawide sensor for detailed imaging and 10-bit HDR recording for better colour accuracy in videos. Additional tools like Generative Edit and Audio Eraser enable photo and video editing directly on the device.

The device includes enhanced security measures such as Knox Vault and post-quantum cryptography for safeguarding personal data. Its materials feature recycled components, including recycled aluminium in the frame and 50% recycled cobalt in the battery.

The Galaxy S25+ also offers seven years of OS and security updates, ensuring longevity and optimised performance. Buyers will receive six months of Gemini Advanced and 2TB of cloud storage.
