Samsung launches Galaxy Buds3 FE with ANC and Galaxy AI integration

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Buds3 FE, the latest addition to its wireless earbuds lineup. The new earbuds feature Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), Galaxy AI-powered functions, and a redesigned Blade form factor. The company said the product is built to make its audio innovations accessible to more users.

Features

Galaxy Buds3 FE feature a 1-way dynamic driver with improved sound output, delivering deeper bass and clear treble. The earbuds support ANC to block background noise and an Ambient Sound mode for awareness. Samsung’s Crystal Clear Call technology, powered by a pre-trained machine learning model, improves voice clarity in noisy surroundings. The repositioned microphones face the mouth for better voice pickup during calls.

AI integration extends to features such as hands-free controls using voice commands like “Hey Google.” Users can check their schedule, send emails, or translate conversations using Galaxy AI and the Interpreter app when paired with a compatible Galaxy smartphone. Auto Switch allows seamless device-to-device transitions within the Galaxy ecosystem, while intuitive pinch and swipe gestures simplify playback and volume control.

In terms of design, the Buds3 FE adopt Samsung’s Blade-inspired look with matte dual-tone finishes and semi-transparent accents. The earbuds are IP54-rated for water and dust resistance.

Battery performance includes up to six hours of playback with ANC enabled (30 hours with case and ANC off) and four hours of talk time per charge. The charging case houses a 515mAh battery, while each earbud carries 53mAh.

Availability

Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy Buds3 FE will be available starting September 5 in Black and Gray color options. Availability will vary across markets and retailers

The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 and are compatible with Android 11 or higher devices with at least 1.5GB RAM. They integrate Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC), AAC, and SBC for audio streaming. With Galaxy Buds3 FE, Samsung aims to bring essential features like ANC and AI-driven smart functions to more users at an accessible price point.
