Samsung's 2025 foldable smartphone series, which will include the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, is expected to be revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked event next week. In recent times, these devices have been making several regulatory certification stops, and their specifications have also been tipped by multiple leakers. However, a new case listing has now more or less confirmed that alongside these smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fan Edition (FE) clamshell foldable will also be announced.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE: Here’s what to expect
As spotted by Android Central, popular smartphone accessories and case maker firm Spigen briefly listed cases for both the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE on its website, confirming the existence of Samsung’s first-ever foldable FE smartphone. Moreover, it also reveals that Samsung will reveal its official details at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 smartphones.
Like Samsung’s previous Fan Edition smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is expected to pack slightly lower hardware specifications and be available at an affordable price tag. Further, previous leaks and rumours suggest that it will be powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos 2500 chipset and house a 6.7-inch main display with a 3.4-inch cover screen.
It is also likely to feature two outward-facing cameras, including a 12MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is tipped to pack a 3,700mAh battery and have a rumoured starting price of $740 (around Rs 64,000).
