Samsung Galaxy M17 5G, Galaxy F17 5G expected to launch soon in India: All the details

Samsung is reportedly working on two new budget smartphones, called Galaxy M17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G, as these devices have now appeared on a certification website. Moreover, both smartphones are expected to run on Android 15-based One UI 7.

After introducing the Galaxy A17 5G in select markets earlier this month, Samsung is now reportedly gearing up to release the Galaxy F17 5G and the Galaxy M17 5G soon. Both devices have now been spotted on the Google Play Console database with their dedicated model numbers, revealing some of their features and specifications. Let us take a look at all of these details.

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G, Galaxy A17 5G: Expected specifications

According to a report by the Tech Outlook, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M17 5G with the model number SM-M176B was spotted on the Google Play Console database. Moreover, another model number, SM-E176B, was also spotted on the database, which could be the codename for the upcoming Galaxy F17 5G. Both these smartphones also have a17x device, which indicates that the Galaxy M17 5G and Galaxy F17 5G could be the rebranded versions of the Galaxy A17 5G.

The listing reveals that both smartphones will be powered by the in-house Exynos 1330 chipset, which is an octa-core chipset that includes two fast cores running at 2.4 GHz and six smaller cores running at 2.0 GHz. Other details include Android 15 with One UI 7, 4GB of RAM, a Full HD+ display, and a vertical pill-shaped rear camera module.

Like the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G, the Galaxy M17 and F17 5G will likely come with a 5,000mAh battery alongside 25W wired fast charging support. Moreover, it could come with an IP54 dust and water-resistant build and incorporate a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
