Capcom’s survival horror game Resident Evil 3 (2020) has launched for iPhone, iPad and Mac. A remake of 1999’s Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, the horror title can be purchased from the Apple App Store.
By launching Resident Evil 3 on the App Store, Capcom has followed up with its Resident Evil 2 December 2024 release on Apple devices.
Resident Evil 3 is set in Raccoon City, a fictional town in the US Midwest. A special police team called the S.T.A.R.S came to the city to investigate “a series of strange disappearances”. But they start losing their teammates fast to a hostile city that quickly transforms into a zombie-infested place. Jill Valentine, one of the few surviving members of S.T.A.R.S. is the protagonist in Resident Evil 3. Most of the time, the player would control Jill’s character in the third person.

Resident Evil 3 supports iOS 17.0.0, iOS 17.4.1 and iOS 18.0.0. The supported iPadOS versions are iPadOS 17.0.0, iPadOS 17.4.1 and iPadOS 18.0.0.
