Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 14 series in India on December 9. The company took to social media platform X with the tagline ‘Redmi Note series is not the same anymore’ and confirmed the launch date. The Redmi Note series has always been popular in India, and rightly so, considering the price-to-performance ratio the series has offered in the last decade. However, we could see a price hike with the series now.

Redmi Note 14 series: Expected specifications, price

Xiaomi had unveiled the Redmi Note 14 series with base Note 14, 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+

If we talk about their processing power, the Note 14 Pro+ runs on Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, while the Note 14 Pro model has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC under the hood. The vanilla Redmi Note 14 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC.

Further, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is expected to pack a 6.67-inch OLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the Chinese variant. The camera setup includes a triple-lens configuration, with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and another 50MP telephoto lens.

Xiaomi India Chief Marketing Officer Anuj Sharma has also hinted about a price increase with the future devices from the series. He mentioned how the Redmi Note devices excelled in delivering the best specs at Rs 10-15K in the beginning. However, with the Redmi Note 12 series in 2023, things started to change as Xiaomi moved to evolve the hardware to deliver the best devices to customers.
