Xiaomi has launched its latest budget 5G smartphone in India, the Redmi 15C 5G, aiming to offer a stylish design, a large display and a long-lasting battery to users who depend on their phones for work, learning and entertainment. The company says the new device is built to feel effortless in daily use while focusing on features that actually matter to people.
Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer at Xiaomi India, said the idea behind the Redmi 15C 5G was to create a phone that fits naturally into everyday life. “The combination of a big immersive display, a reliable all-day battery and a refined royale design reflects how people now watch, learn and work on their phones,” he said, adding that Xiaomi’s focus is on keeping the Redmi experience reliable and user-centric.
On the design front, the Redmi 15C 5G takes a polished and modern approach. The slim body comes with a 3D quad-curved back that makes the phone feel comfortable and well-balanced in the hand. Xiaomi has also added a new floating crater-style camera design for a cleaner, more distinctive look. The device is available in three colours—Moonlight Blue, Dusk Purple and Midnight Black—with Moonlight Blue featuring a dual-colour pattern inspired by ocean waves and changing light.
One of the biggest highlights of the phone is its large 17.53 cm HD+ display, which Xiaomi claims is the largest and smoothest in its segment. It also supports up to 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, which means the screen automatically adjusts its smoothness depending on the content. Whether you’re watching long videos or scrolling through social apps, the display is meant to offer a fluid experience. The phone also features a 50MP AI dual camera setup that promises clear and vivid photos in bright, indoor and low-light environments.
Power users will appreciate the large 6000mAh battery. Xiaomi says it can deliver up to 23 hours of video playback or nearly 107 hours of music. With 33W fast charging, the phone can reach 50 percent in just 28 minutes, and it even supports 10W reverse charging to top up accessories. A 33W charger is included in the box.
Under the hood, the Redmi 15C 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 16GB RAM through memory extension and 1TB expandable storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and comes with useful features like Circle to Search, Google Gemini integration and Xiaomi’s interconnectivity tools including call sync and shared clipboard.
The phone also carries IP64 dust and water resistance and a 200 percent volume boost for clearer sound outdoors.
The Redmi 15C 5G will go on sale from December 11, 2025, on Amazon, Mi.com and authorised Xiaomi retail stores. Prices start at ₹12,499 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, going up to ₹15,499 for the 8GB + 128GB model.
