Poco has launched the Poco C71, a budget smartphone featuring a 6.88-inch 120Hz IPS LCD display, a 5,200mAh battery, and up to 6GB RAM. The device will go on sale in India starting April 8 via Flipkart.

The Poco C71 will be available for purchase from April 8 at 12 PM on Flipkart. It will come in three color options: Power Black, Desert Gold, and Cool Blue.

Poco C71: Features

The Poco C71 sports a 6.88-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also comes with an IP52 rating for dust and minor water resistance.

Powered by the UNISOC T7250 chipset, built on a 12nm process, the phone is equipped with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. It offers 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.

Unlike higher-end Poco models with HyperOS, the C71 runs on Android 15 (Go Edition) and comes with a commitment to two years of OS updates and four years of security patches.

The smartphone is backed by a 5,200mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. It does not support 5G but includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The Poco C71 competes with budget smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy M05 and Redmi 4A.  Its pricing and specifications position it as a contender in the affordable smartphone segment, particularly for users seeking a high-refresh-rate display and a large battery.
