Sony has officially revealed the list of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in October 2025. The lineup features several horror-themed releases, arriving ahead of Halloween on October 21. This month’s update caters to both long-time PlayStation fans and players looking to explore new survival and narrative-driven experiences.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Games

The major highlight this month is Silent Hill 2 (PS5), a complete remake of the 2001 classic. Players return as James Sunderland to the fog-covered town of Silent Hill in search of his late wife. With upgraded visuals and audio, the game aims to deliver an atmospheric and unsettling experience.

Until Dawn (PS5) also returns in a rebuilt version, offering an updated take on the well-known horror story. Set in an isolated mountain lodge, the game lets players control eight characters whose fates depend on their decisions throughout the night.

Another notable addition is V Rising (PS5), a survival action RPG that casts players as a vampire awakening after centuries of sleep. The objective is to rebuild a castle, feed on blood to regain strength, and avoid sunlight. The title supports both solo and multiplayer gameplay.

The catalog further expands with Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS5, PS4), the turn-based RPG following Ichiban Kasuga’s journey through the criminal underworld. Players can explore Yokohama, complete side stories, and take on dynamic combat with multiple character classes.

For players seeking a short but eerie experience, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 (PS5, PS4) tasks them with exploring an abandoned toy factory filled with mysteries. Alongside it, As Dusk Falls (PS5, PS4) offers an interactive drama centered around two families connected by a decades-old crime.

Completing the Extra and Premium lineup is Wizard with a Gun (PS5), a cooperative sandbox survival game where players collect resources, craft magical weapons, and explore dangerous worlds.

PlayStation Plus Premium Exclusive

Premium members will also receive Tekken 3 (PS5, PS4) as part of the classics lineup. The enhanced version includes visual upgrades, rewind functionality, and quick save options while maintaining its original fighting mechanics and character roster.

The October 2025 catalog combines horror, drama, and action in a diverse selection of titles, all available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members starting October 21.
