Panasonic expands Matter-enabled smart AC lineup with 61 new models: All the details

IntroductionPanasonic Life Solutions India has introduced its 2025 lineup of air conditioners, expanding its Matter-enabled residential air conditioner (RAC) portfolio. The new range includes 61 new RAC models and 28 commercial AC (CAC) models, designed to withstand extreme temperatures up to 55°C. The company has extended its Matter-enabled RACs to the inverter 3-star segment, starting at ₹33,990.

Features

The 2025 lineup integrates advanced features, including Miraie connectivity, AI-based cooling, and Panasonic’s patented nanoe air purification technology. The Matter-enabled models ensure interoperability with other smart home ecosystems, allowing seamless control through various platforms.

The air conditioners feature a redesigned indoor unit (IDU) fascia with 20% higher airflow. The lineup includes models with Converti7 technology, allowing users to adjust cooling performance between 45% and over 100% to optimize energy consumption. The Jetstream technology enables air throw up to 45 feet, ensuring cooling across larger spaces.

Panasonic’s Shield Blu+ technology provides corrosion protection, and all models feature 100% copper coils for efficient heat transfer. The new lineup includes auto-convertible inverters and AI algorithms that adjust temperature, fan speed, and operation mode based on user comfort. The PM 0.1 filter enhances air quality by removing fine particles.

Panasonic has sold over a million smart air conditioners and continues to expand its distribution network across India. The company services over 20,000 pin codes through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) channel and online partnerships.

Fumiyasu Fujimori, Managing Director, PMIN, Panasonic Life Solutions India, stated that the new range aligns with the company’s focus on sustainability and smart technology. The launch will be supported by a 360-degree marketing campaign, including a new TV commercial.
