Key features of OriginOS 6
The new operating system builds on Vivo’s design principles and adds several AI-driven improvements. The refreshed interface uses translucent UI layers and a new Origin Design System with unified icons, fonts, and shapes. The Snap-Up Engine improves touch response and app launch speeds, while the new Grid Layout (4×7) introduces adaptive folders and widgets that react to phone movement.
AI enhancements include AI Retouch, AI Erase, Smart Call Assistant, and DocMaster, alongside AI Search and AI Creation tools. These are designed to help users edit photos, manage calls, and generate content more intuitively.
The Origin Island feature will display real-time notifications like calls, navigation, and charging in a pill-shaped hub. With OriginOS 6, iQOO aims to provide a smarter, more efficient interface that aligns performance with design innovation across its flagship and mid-range smartphones.
