Oppo K13 Turbo series to launch soon with built-in fan

Earlier this week, Oppo confirmed that its latest K13 Turbo series 5G will launch in India, after the smartphones were launched in China recently. The lineup will likely include the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro smartphones, and is focused to be offering advanced gaming-centric hardware at midrange pricing. Now, the brand has also stated the OPPO K13 Turbo series 5G will come with an in‑built cooling fan.

Oppo has revealed that its upcoming K13 Turbo series 5G will feature an innovative airflow design and a smoke visualisation-ready duct system, which delivers a next-level heat dissipation system. It is the country's only phone with an in-built fan and is designed to offer advanced heat dissipation, especially during high-end gaming. The fan uses super-thin blades (0.1mm in thickness) and will offer high rotational speed, which would be beneficial to cool down the processor quickly.

Beyond the active heat dissipation components, the K13 Turbo series will also feature a 7,000 mm-square vapor chamber, which should also help in keeping the motherboard’s temperature under control. Like their Chinese counterparts, both models are expected to sport a 6.80-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate.

Further, they will likely come with a 50MP dual-camera module and a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calling. Both smartphones will also come with a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The K13 Turbo is said to come with a MediaTek 8450 SoC, while the K13 Turbo Pro will likely come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
