OnePlus has already confirmed the launch details for its next-generation flagship smartphone– the OnePlus 15 5G. The smartphone is expected to succeed the OnePlus 13 launched earlier this year and the company has already confirmed the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor for it.
Apart from that, several leaks and rumours have already been revolving around the internet revealing the design, features, camera and almost everything about the phone.
Here’s everything that we know so far about the OnePlus 15 5G smartphone.
OnePlus 15 launch date
The OnePlus 15 5G is expected to launch in China on October 27, 2025. For global markets, including India, the release may be pushed to January 2026. The company has yet to disclose an official India launch date, but the confirmation of a worldwide rollout suggests it won’t be far behind the China debut.
OnePlus 15: Expected price in India
For the Indian market, the OnePlus 15 5G is expected to be priced between Rs 70,000 and Rs 75,000. This would align the device with the pricing of the earlier OnePlus 13 model, with no current indications of a price hike.
OnePlus 15 design and features
OnePlus has showcased the phone in a new Sand Storm colour variant, highlighting an aluminium frame built with a micro-arc oxidation treatment. This high-voltage plasma process creates a ceramic-like coating, which the company claims is 3.4 times stronger than raw aluminium and 1.5 times tougher than titanium. The rear panel is made of fibreglass, while a redesigned camera module and a new Plus key—likely to serve customizable shortcuts—mark further changes in the device’s aesthetics.
The OnePlus 15 5G is confirmed to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Alongside the upgraded chipset, OnePlus has also teased a new cooling system that aims to deliver better efficiency and sustained performance compared to its predecessor. While complete specifications remain under wraps, these early details suggest a focus on durability, design, and power.
