Nothing is tuning into a new category. The London-based tech company, known for its minimal design language and transparent gadgets, has confirmed it will launch its first over-ear headphones—Nothing Headphone (1)—on 1 July at 10:30 PM IST.
The announcement came from co-founder and CEO Carl Pei during his appearance at SXSW London, where he spoke about the company’s vision, community-driven approach, and its evolution so far.
This will mark Nothing’s first foray into the over-ear audio space, building on its existing earbuds lineup. The new product will be globally unveiled from its home base in London, with Pei calling it a “new chapter” for the brand.
Interestingly, this launch coincides with the long-teased arrival of Phone (3)—Nothing’s first full-blooded flagship. While the company hasn’t shared specs yet, expectations are high given its growing design pedigree and Carl Pei’s knack for fan-driven hype.
Fans and curious audiophiles can register their interest at Flipkart or Nothing's official website With a smartphone and over-ear headphones set to debut on the same day, Nothing seems to be broadening its product showcase.
