Nothing CMF Phone 2 hands-on images leaked likely to feature a triple camera setup

Nothing introduced its sub-brand CMF to cater to the mass affordable market and introduced various smartwatches, audio products, and smartphone accessories to cater to budget users. Last year, the UK-based company introduced its first smartphone for this sub-brand, dubbed CMF Phone 1. While the design language and other features differed from the conventional Nothing Phones, this smartphone received a positive response from the Indian market. Now, the company may be preparing to strengthen its CMF series with the Nothing CMF Phone 2.

A Reddit user (UpperPerformer6651) has shared a couple of alleged hands-on images and a concept picture of the back design of the purported CMF Phone 2. The renders revealed that the smartphone could come with a triple rear camera setup. Moreover, these images also confirm that the smartphone will continue to support interchangeable covers and proprietary accessories, like its predecessor.

The alleged CMF Phone 2 images show that the alleged CMF Phone 2 will retain a boxy chassis with rounded corners for better grip. The Reddit post also suggests that the CMF Phone 2 could have a compact form factor, which means it could come with a smaller display than the 6.7-inch screen on the Nothing CMF Phone 1.

Previously, the CMF Phone 2 was also spotted on a BIS listing with the model number A001. Multiple reports also suggested that the device would ship with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, similar to the Nothing Phone (3a) series also features the same chipset. Moreover, it is likely to run on Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15 and have the codename ‘galaga‘.
