Motorola is planning to launch a new midrange smartphone and leaks and rumours suggest that it is going to be the Moto Edge 60 Pro. The device will succeed the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, which was launched in 2024, and the smartphone has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. This means that its launch is imminent. Let us now take a look at its other details.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro gets BIS certification: Key details

As spotted by XpertPick, a new Motorola phone with the model number XT2503-2, has secured the BIS certification, and is believed to be the Motorola Edge 60 Pro. Previously, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Edge 40 Pro also came with similar model numbers XT2403-4 and XT2303-2, respectively.

Recently, the global variant of the alleged Edge 60 Pro was also spotted on the EEC certification with the same XT2503-4 model number. However, both the BIS and EEC certification sites don't reveal any hardware information or specifications of the upcoming Motorola smartphone.

To recall, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It also has a 50MP triple camera setup, including a 10MP telephoto lens. In terms of battery, the device has a 4,500mAh with 125W fast wired-charging support. The successor is expected to bring some notable upgrades, and recent reports claim that the Edge 60 Pro could also have a Snapdragon SoC.
