After several teasers, Motorola has confirmed that its next midrange smartphone, the Edge 60 Fusion, will launch in India next month. This device succeeds the Edge 50 Fusion, which was launched last year in the country. Moreover, the Flipkart microsite for the Edge 60 Fusion has also revealed its key specifications.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: Launch date, key specificationsThe Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will launch on April 2 at 12 PM IST. It will go on sale through Flipkart and the Motorola India e-store. The promotional images shared by the brand confirm that the phone will be available in light blue, salmon (light pink), and lavender (light purple) colour shades with a vegan leather finish on the back. It is also confirmed to ship with Android 15-based Hello UI and will receive three years of Android OS upgrades with four years of security updates.
Moreover, the official microsite of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has revealed that the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC. Further, it will come with 8GB and 12GB RAM options paired with 256GB of onboard storage with support for up to 1TB of extended storage via a microSD card. Motorola has also confirmed that the phone will pack a 5500mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K Pantone-validated all-curved display with a 4,500nits peak brightness level and a 96.3% screen-to-body ratio. The display will also support a 100% DCI P3 colour gamut, Water Touch 3.0, and will have HDR10+ certification. In terms of cameras, the Edge 60 Fusion will come with a 50MP Sony LYT 700C main camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera with macro lens capability. It will also have a 32MP selfie camera.
